The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), established on May 28, 1975, is a regional intergovernmental organization made up of 15 member states: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo.
Headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria, ECOWAS works to promote economic integration and development across the region. Its official languages are English, French, and Portuguese.

Eligibility Criteria
